JOB DESCRIPTION
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic press brake equipment while supporting production operations through the fabrication and assembly of metal components. This role requires the ability to safely bend and form metal products to specification while maintaining quality and production standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of hydraulic press brake operating experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
Experience working with sheet metal preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong mathematical skills, including fraction and decimal conversions.
Ability to use measuring instruments and inspection tools accurately.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work and occasional weekends.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely set up, operate, and troubleshoot hydraulic press brake equipment.
- Perform mechanical die changes efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and measurements.
- Perform quality checks including measurements, weight, density, and dimensional verification using measuring tools and mathematical calculations.
- Complete routine preventive maintenance tasks, including fluid checks, machine cleanups, and reporting equipment concerns or malfunctions.
- Accurately record production data including piece counts, downtime, and completion times.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting safety and quality expectations.
- Assist with general production and assembly tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
