JOB DESCRIPTION
The General Laborer assists with daily paint line operations while also supporting shipping and material handling activities. This role is responsible for staging, tracking, and preparing materials based on Bills of Materials (BOMs), accurately processing shipping documentation, and performing hands-on labor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills and attention to detail are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support paint line operations, including loading, unloading, hanging, and staging parts for painting.
  • Handle materials and components before and after the paint process according to production schedules and BOMs.
  • Pull, verify, and prepare parts and materials for shipment based on Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, including packaging, labeling, and preparing items for carrier pickup.
  • Accurately enter shipping, inventory, and production data into computer systems or spreadsheets.
  • Print and review shipping documents, packing lists, and related paperwork.
  • Perform visual inspections of painted parts and report defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain organization of paint line materials, finished goods, and shipping areas.
  • Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts (forklift if trained/certified).
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures related to paint line operations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, paint line, warehouse, or shipping environments preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and use of internal systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
